  1. Do I need a Passport?
    YES, we will travel across the U.S. border and a passport or passport card is required for re-entry. Passports are available at most U.S. Post Offices and U.S. Passport Offices. Costs are $100 USD +/-, you may also opt to apply for a passport card, and this piece of documentation is also valid for re-entry into the U.S. at any land/sea border crossing.   2. Is it safe in Mexico?
    The areas which we travel to and through have no more history of violence than most of the areas that you are from in the U.S. We have traveled and hosted thousands of individuals in Mexico without incident. All of our trips are professionally guided with your comfort and safety being our primary concern.

  3. What tackle should I bring with me?
    Fishing techniques are very consitant with the practices you would use in Southern California.

    We recommend bringing 3 outfits:
    40lb., 50 lb., and a 60lb. on 7′ rods. Longer rods can be used if you perfer.

    Flourocarbon: 30lb. through 80lb.

    Hooks and weight:
    2/0 to 6/0 circle or J, and 4 Sabiki rigs, mackerel ans sardine is the primary bait.
    2-10oz. sinkers, and a few each 1/2 to 1oz slide sinkers.

    Irons:
    8 to 10 surface and YOYO, blue and white, scrambled egg and mint sardine are all effective.

    Plastics:
    Lead heads and a lot of tails. There is a well supplied tackle shop on the island.

  4. Is English spoken?
    All of our trips are assigned a bilingual guide from start to finish. This representative is your communication source throughout your trip. This rep is well versed on all aspects of your trip and will be able to address most needs that may arise and answer questions during your trip. They are experienced with all the personnel, locations and businesses that will be providing services to our guests.

  5. Are single rooms available?
    Yes, we can provide single (one person per room) accommodations. There will be a single room surcharge.

  6. Do I need a cooler?
    No, we carry 120 quart coolers on our van to transport your fish back to your pick up location. There we transfer fish into coolers left in your vehicle. Fish cleaning and packaging is provided.

  7. How much money will I need on my trip for additional items?

    All transportation, hotel, food, boats, guides, etc. are included in our All Inclusive Cedros Island Fishing Trips. Gratuities are not included, items of a personal nature and souvenirs are not included, nor are alcholic beverages.

    Persons who should be tipped are the fishing guides, hotel staff incuding fish processors, translators/drivers, etc. We strive to make sure that your hosts and service providers provide you with a safe, courteous, and fun excursion throughout your stay with us. 15% of the total is cost of trip is the standard practice however gratuity is a individual gesture. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

    In addition to your gratuity, $50.00 per day would be a baseline budget. Local buisnesses on the island do not accept credit or ATM cards nor are their ATM machines available. Our representative will provide a place for the best rates for exchange of currency at a location prior to departing Ensenada. Do not hesitate to ask for advice on tips and any other questions you may have with your trip Host.

  8. Are there trips available that can be customized to include other activitys?

    Yes, We also offer side trips such as visiting the wine country in the Guadelupe Valley. Consult one of our representatives for more information.

  9. Are trips available year round?
